Recently, we received an inquiry from Canada about our automatic bin tipper. According to our customer, the tipper they used had a drop height from its outlet to the white belt conveyor, which resulted in damage to the bell peppers. Additionally, this customer also tries another solution by adding a feeding hopper to feed bell peppers to the processing line. There's nothing controlling the peppers from falling out and the customer were getting a lot of bruised and damaged peppers. Because the hopper was so deep, the peppers piled up when dumped, which also resulted in damage. Neither of these two solutions can solve the damage problem. So the customer tries to contact FstSort to get a solution.
According to our customer's needs, the FstSort team recommended our hydraulic bin tipper for the client. This automatic box dumper is controlled by a PLC and has a brush at the outlet to avoid instantaneous discharge. The speed of discharging products can be controlled with the system. In addition, we designed a wave-shaped receiving conveyor to decrease the drop height. There is no doubt that this customized hydraulic bin dumper minimizes damage to the bell peppers.
